What is a Content Management System or CMS?
A CMS is a website that allows you as my client to get in and change things around. You’ll be glad to know this doesn’t mean you need to start learning code like HTML or PHP, as a graphical interface is provided. In fact most CMS interfaces will be familiar to anyone who has used the Microsoft Word package and many users will find they have an intuitive grasp of editing the content. As well as rewriting copy as your company grows you may wish to post news releases or even blog regularly. Having an easy way to do this yourself saves you time and money.

As well as editing your copy you will be able to tweak menus and whatnot with a techinical knowledge similar to emailing with Outlook. I will unify the management of any special features you ask for like galleries into this backend.

Using the premier content management systems (CMS) WordPress or Joomla is in most cases the best way to approach your website build. WordPress is a well known, secure framework for building a website. It’s famous as a great way to build a blog website but it has many other uses as well, and can be fantastic for small business. In fact it’s what this website uses!
